People love running up and down the Rocky steps outside of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Just go on YouTube and search "rocky steps" and you'll find thousands and thousands of videos of people running on the steps that were made famous by Sylvester Stallone in the Rocky movies. But last night, a man in a convertible took things a step further when he drove his car down the Rocky steps, and it might get him into big trouble.

As you can see in the video above—which was captured by a man who lives across the street from the Philadelphia Museum of Art—a man in a BMW convertible drove down the Rocky steps sometime around midnight on Thursday evening before speeding off once he reached the bottom. Someone who was on the scene later told police that the driver of the car was sitting and talking with some friends when his car started to roll down the steps, which forced him to jump into the car and navigate down them. But in the video, you can clearly hear plenty of hooting and hollering throughout the car's descent. So police aren't buying the story. They are currently looking at surveillance video to see if they can identify the driver and bring him in for questioning.

We don't know about you, but we think this guy is an idiot. Driving down one step is enough to kill your car's suspension. Driving down the 72 Rocky steps? Sigh. We don't even want to think about what that poor car must have gone through. This guy deserves whatever punishment he has coming to him.
