The Minnesota Lynx's win this week makes Monica Wright a two-time WNBA Champion. So congratulations to her for that, congratulations to her on her engagement to Kevin Durant, and congratuations to her for being one of approximately two people (obviously, LeBron James) who are better than Durant. We assure you this assessment of her talent comes from a very credible source:
@pdgraham30 I love it!!! She's the better player anyway
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) October 11, 2013
We obviously wouldn't look into that as he's obviosly giving his love props, as seen here:
KD on fiance Monica Wright's WNBA title: "I was proud of how she helped her team win a championship. It was kind of tears of joy."
— Darnell Mayberry (@DarnellMayberry) October 11, 2013
Durant on Wright: "I'm glad she's my future wife. She's got more championships than I do."
— Darnell Mayberry (@DarnellMayberry) October 11, 2013
So that's two champions in one household: a two-time league champion and a three-time scoring champions. Durant would probably prefer what Wright has (an NBA championship, not a WNBA championship because that would be weird), but at 25 he has plenty of time.
