Quarterback Josh Freeman is jobless no more. After getting released by Tampa Bay, Freeman will sign with the Vikings

Freeman will join a quarterback depth chart that has Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel. The two combine to average 223.8 yards per game, which is 23rd in the league.

The question is if Freeman can jump in front of Ponder and Cassel as the starting quarterback (which is very possible), and if so how soon? Also, can he give Minnesota a reliable passing attack to open up room for more Adrian Peterson abusings?
