Hockey Player Pulls Out Tooth After Getting Hit By Puck (Video)

Don't let the New York Islanders losing record over the past five years or the fact they've never made it past the first round of the playoffs in over two decades fool you. They may be the lesser franchise compared to the Rangers, but there are still some hardasses over there. Or at least one: John Tavares.

Tavares took a puck to the cheek, apparently messing up a tooth. The center decided to finsh the job by pulling the tooth out and handing it to the trainer. It didn't look like he cared too much about doing so either, as he chilled on the bench for afterward in a c'est la vie sort of manner. Like the badass he is, Tavares didn't miss a single shift.
