Here in America the four way stop is ubiquitous, but across a certain body of water called the Atlantic Ocean, the roundabout is the most common intersection. The roundabout is gaining momentum in the States, especially in Carmel, IN where all but one intersection is set to be replaced by them, but many still view them as unsafe, despite studies showing that they result in 90% fewer fatal accidents and 37% fewer total accidents. Can you tell that we're pro-roundabout?

To settle the argument in that pseudo-scientific way that is the hallmark of the show Mythbusters, a test was designed, and a simulation was run. Which type of intersection do you think was more efficient at moving traffic?
