It has been 525 days since Derrick Rose last played in an NBA game, but earlier tonight, the 25-year-old made his return for the first time since suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during the 2012 playoffs. In addition to ending up with a solid 13 points on 5/12 shooting, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 rebounds, Rose showed that his much talked about knee was able to withstand the rigors of playing in a professional basketball game.

As you can see in the above clip, Rose's first basket did include some contact, but he was able to withstand it, follow up on his miss and finish on his second attempt. Below, there are couple of other moments from D-Rose's return, including a nice drive to the basket on a fastbreak and his first dunk, respectively.
