The Cleveland Cavaliers will retire the No. 11 jersey worn by Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Ilgauskas was never the type of center to fill up a box score (his best statistical year was most likely the 2004-05 season where he averaged 16.9 points and 8.6 rebounds per game). However, that shouldn't take away from the fact that Big Z did everything right, which is evident in the fact that he currently stands as the all-time franchise leader in games played (771), total rebounds (5,904), offensive rebounds (2,336) and blocked shots (1,269) while sitting second in points scored (10,616).

Ilgauskas will join Mark Price (No. 25), Nate Thurmond (42), Bingo Smith (7), Austin Carr (34), Larry Nance (22) and Brad Daugherty (43) to become the seventh Cavalier player to have his number retired. The ceremony is rumored to take place on March 8, 2014 when the Cavs take on the New York Knicks at The Q.

Congrats, Big Z.
