With many games from the 2013 MLB Playoffs being played in the afternoon during the weekday, it's obviously difficult for kids to check them out since they are at school. Unless, you have a cool mom, like Kerri McKinnon of Boston. You see, Kerri recently gave a hand-written note to her son's teacher, requesting he get let out early to see their hometown Red Sox take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALDS. Of course, you gotta have a legit reason for the early excusal, so McKinnon went with "Red Sox fever" which would require the kid to "visit Fenway for the cure." Hit the thumbs to check out the note.

No word on whether or not the kid was allowed to go seek treatment at Fenway.
