Throughout sports history we have seen moments of triumph and achievement that have left us scratching our heads. Whether it be single-game performances on the biggest stage, or individual and team success that never should have been, these moments all have one thing in common: they’ve never been repeated. Like that favorite jam from that group you don’t remember, off the album you probably never knew, a great single is not reserved exclusively for the music industry. These athletes and teams maybe best known for being the answers to trivia on Tuesday night at your favorite bar, but first they pulled off the improbable on the respective fields of play. From Don Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series to “Neon” Leon Spinks taking out The Biggest One-Hit Wonders in Sports History.
