One of the biggest storylines this Sunday is Adrian Peterson's presence on the field against the Panthers after the heartbreaking turn of events that unfolded this week.  Peterson is mourning the loss of his 2-year-old son, and his time on the field today has a few questioning why he'd be even thinking about football.

Peterson has his reasons. The running back elaborated on them in a text to his FOX sideline reporter Laura Okmin:

None

Peterson is also refering to his half-brother, Chris Paris, who was murdered before the 2007 NFL Combine.

It's a touching and sad situation. Peterson's actions shouldn't really have to be questioned as it's unimaginable what type of pain he could be going through. Best of luck to him.
