It's not rare for an engineer to put their full trust into their work, but how often do you see someone risk their neck (literally) to show an aspect of their design? In this video from Volvo Trucks, Roland Svensson showcases the ground clearance height of the Volvo FMX by buring himself to the neck and allowing the truck to drive directly over his head. The clip lists the height of Svensson's head at 275mm and that of the truck at 300mm, so the clearance was not much bigger than a standard game die. We don't trust anything enough to pull this stunt off, but he definitely proved his point.
