Don't look now, but the U.S. men's soccer team is starting to get a little bit of respect. Just one day after the U.S. beat Mexico to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, FIFA released their new world rankings. And the U.S. team jumped six slots in the world rankings to land in the No. 13 slot on the list. They've still got a ways to go before they crack the top 10—though it should be noted that the four teams listed ahead of them in the rankings all fell from their previous slots—but they're moving in the right direction.

American soccer is enjoying a nice little moment right now, isn't it? Let's hope it continues.
