Tony Romo Is Still Playing Despite Brutal Shot to the Ribs (GIF)

The pure, All-American awesomeness of Jerry Jones, LeBron James, and Hulk Hogan appearing in a phototogether gave way to a scary moment for the Cowboys organization. Toward the end of the second quarter, Tony Romo got slammed by both Mathias Kiwanuka and Justin Trattou.

Romo left the game temporarily at the end of the first half in obvious pain, leaving many Dallas fans to sigh at the possibility of Kyle Orton running the show instead.

Jones and New Jersey governor Chris Christie weren't thrilled at all:

Orton ended up playing one snap, and Romo came back in the second half. It turns out he only had the wind knocked the hell out of him.
