The 49ers/Seahawks game on Sunday night is going to intense. Real intense. So intense that you've gotta be nuts to wear a 49ers jersey to CenturyLink Field in Seattle if you're a San Francisco fan. That's just asking for trouble. Or is it?

Maybe not. Seattle police are reportedly going to be out in full force at the game on Sunday night to prevent fights between Niners and Seahawks fans. And how are they going to do it? Why, by sporting 49ers jerseys and arresting anyone who decides to pick a fight with them. It's sneaky. But we're betting that it will be effective in getting opposing fans to leave each alone during the game.

"We have great fans," Peter McLoughlin, the president of the Seahawks, said in a statement released late yesterday. "Our goal is to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance, including visiting team fans."

And if that means throwing a couple of Seahawks fans out by baiting them into arguments with the police? Then so be it. But we still expect plenty of videos of Seahawks fans harassing 49ers fans to pop up on Monday morning. Just wait.
