Apparently, the Ravens aren't taking a recent incident involving their wide receiver Jacoby Jones and a stripper named Sweet Pea too seriously. Jones came out late yesterday and apologized for getting into some type of altercation with the girl earlier this week after a night out at a Washington, D.C. club. But during a practice this week, the Ravens reportedly made light of the situation by playing this song over the PA system for the entire team to hear:
In case you're not familiar with it, that song is Tommy Roe's "Sweet Pea," which hit No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in 1966. We're sure the Ravens team got a rise out of it. Roger Goodell? Eh, probably not so much.
