As you probably know, the Frankfurt Motor Show is underway and over 1,000 exhibitors are showing off the latest and greatest new toys for autophiles around the world to gawk at and dream about. The Porsche 918 Spyder is an early favorite among the pack with its 887 total HP, 4.6-liter V8 engine and $845,000 price tag. While the shiny new Spyder was being displayed at the show, another was racing at Nürburgring and actually set the record for the fastest Nordschleife lap. The official record is now 6:57, four seconds faster than the Dodge Viper ACR
