You know what's awesome? Watching monster trucks destroy things. You know what's not awesome? Almost being one of the things that gets destroyed by a monster truck. But that's exactly what almost happened to a bunch of people at the Monster Truck Showdown in Mexico recently.
Watch the video above and pay special attention to what happens at around the 1:25 mark. One second everyone is screaming and having a good time. And the next, they're still screaming—only now it's because a monster truck literally comes within just feet of taking out a large part of the crowd. We don't know if the driver planned on coming that close. But he almost managed to do some serious damage here.
No worries, though. Less than 30 seconds after they were almost crushed, everyone at the rally went right back to screaming for the right reasons again.
