Jacoby Jones did not get into an altercation with a stripper, er, a "waitress" named Sweet Pea on a party bus earlier this week. At least, that's what he claimed during a radio interview late yesterday. So according to him, he didn't get hit in the head with a bottle of Ace of Spades, as previously reported.

"I'm going to take the responsibility that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time," he admitted on WJZ-FM in Baltimore. "There was no altercation. There's nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong but I take responsibility for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Enough said. I apologize to my teammates and everybody."

Hmmm…We're glad that Jones didn't try to deny that something took place on the party bus. Because clearly, it did. But Jones' explanation doesn't reveal what actually took place between him and Sweet Pea and still makes him look bad. So he better get back on the field and start catching a ton of touchdown passes soon—or else he's going to be stuck answering questions about this well into the foreseeable future.
