Floyd Mayweather Sets Money on Fire
In 2011 15 percent of the U.S. population was in poverty. That same year Floyd Mayweather made a guaranteed $25 million for his fight with Victor Ortiz that lasted just four rounds before Mayweather won because of a controversial knockout. If you do the math, Money May made over $2 million per minute of work that night. So, when Floyd decided to burn a $100 bill in an Atlanta nightclub back in July 2011, it didn't hurt his pockets much but his public persona took a blow.
Not only that but it's actually illegal to destroy U.S. currency. *cues the soundtrack*
