The New York Giants lost their first game of the 2013-14 NFL season last night, due in large part to their turnover woes at the running back position. Running back David Wilson coughed up two costly fumbles during the Giants' game against the Dallas Cowboys, and his backup Da'Rel Scott played a key role in an Eli Manning interception late in the game that thwarted NY's thoughts of a comeback. So the Giants are looking for a veteran running back to come in and give them some help right now. They're planning on working out former Broncos running back Willis McGahee, former Jets running back Joe McKnight, and even former Giants/49ers running back Brandon Jacobs tomorrow to fill their huge need for an RB.

"Give us a little time to work on this thing," Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said after his team's loss yesterday. "[Wilson] is still very much in our thoughts. He's got to play—he's a very talented young man. But you just can't [commit turnovers]. Every time they touch you, you're going to turn the ball over?"

We sure hope not. It'll be interesting to see who the Giants add to their roster moving forward to help out the young running backs that they've already got. It could ultimately make or break their season.
