Real Madrid has landed Gareth Bale from Tottenham in a world record transfer. The reported $132 million deal surpasses the previous record of $124+ million, which involved Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009. Tomorrow, Real Madrid will introduce Bale, who won the PFA Player and Young Player of the Year and Football Writers' Player of the Year for the 2012-13 season, at the Bernabeu.

Last season, Bale scored an impressive 26 goals in 44 games while adding 10 assists. At only 24, Bale is someone to look out for, for the next six more years under his current contract which was signed at the end of last season. Now, after breaking the bank for Bale's services, Real Madrid presents an incredible one-two punch with Cristiano. Without Bale on Tottenham today against Arsenal, the club lost 1-0. His absence is already felt, no?

Neymar, Messi, Christiano, Bale, oh my!
