As expected, the NBA just revealed that the 2016 NBA All-Star Game will be held in Toronto. Drake was on hand for the press conference that the NBA held in Toronto a little while ago. The Raptors formally announced that Drake will be their new Global Ambassador, and they also let him speak during the press conference to reveal his excitement both for the All-Star Game in 2016 and for his new role with the Raptors.
"The city of Toronto and the Raptors mean everything to me," he said, "and the chance to be able to play a role with this team is something I could have only dreamed of growing up. I'm really excited about the direction of the Raptors, and today's announcement about Toronto hosting the NBA All-Star Game in 2016 is another reason why I have a lot to look forward to."
