Talk about "when it rains, it pours." Over the last two games, the San Francisco 49ers have been outscored by the Indianapolis Colts and Seattle Seahawks, 56-10. So, of course, when it looks like luck was about to turn in the Niners' favor, it just, well, turns to crap. Case in point, the 49ers' Donte Whitner had an easy interception slip through his hands and land the hands of Jared Cook, who turned the wacky play into a 19-yard reception.
With the third quarter just underway, the 49ers lead the Rams, 14-3.
