Derrick Rose may have taken last season off to rehab his left knee following a torn ACL. But it sounds like Rose is more than ready to make up for lost time.

During a recent speaking engagement in the Philippines as part of a promo tour with adidas, Rose revealed that he is interested in representing the U.S. and playing for the national team during the 2014 FIBA World Cup—assuming, of course, the U.S. team wants him to run point for them.

"If they select me on the team, it will be an honor," he said. "I definitely will be on the team if [coach Mike Krzyzewski] wants me."

If, D-Rose? If?! We're sure you're going to get a call about this any day now. Go wait by the phone.
