Brewers Outfielder Carlos Gomez Almost Caused a Gigantic Brawl With This Disrespectful Home Run Celebration (Video)

His HR trot was pretty awesome, if you ask us.

Now this is how you celebrate a home run!

During the Brewers/Braves game last night, Milwaukee outfielder Carlos Gomez smacked a home run to left-centerfield in the top of the first inning to give the Brewers a 1-0 lead. And dude celebrated like he had just won the 2013 World Series. First, he stared and watched the home run clear the fence. Then, he ran around the bases jawing at all of the Braves players. And finally, he caused both benches to clear when he got into an argument with Braves catcher Brian McCann, who refused to let Gomez touch home plate.

Was Gomez's celebration a little bit over over the top? No. It was way over the top (for the record, Gomez later claimed he did it because Braves pitcher Paul Maholm hit him with a pitch on purpose three months ago). But it also has us talking about a pretty meaningless Brewers/Braves game right now. So that's a win in our book.
