Bentley's new V8 engine has gotten a lot of good press, offering performance that was better than the old W12 with greatly improved fuel economy. Now the V8 has been eclipsed by the new W12, but some Bentley buyers still want the fuel conomy of the smaller engine.
To appease those buyers (all six of them?) Bentley has created the Continental GT V8 S. The S produces 21 more horsepower than the regular V8 for a total of 521 hp, and features a lowered center of gravity, a stiffened chassis, and upgraded suspension. Think of it as a baby GT Speed.
There's no word on pricing yet, but you know what they say about having to ask.
