As if you needed another reason to tune into the 49ers/Seahawks game in Seattle on Sunday evening…
The other night, 49ers running back Anthony Dixon sent out a tweet about all of the hard work he has been putting in in the weight room this week to prepare for his team's matchup on Sunday night. And in doing so, he also sent a shot at the Seahawks when he referred to them as the "She-Hawks."
"Extra weight on the racks all week," he wrote, "getting less sleep preparing for these She-Hawks. I love hostile environments Imma feel right at home…"
Dixon deleted the tweet a short time later. But once he realized that a few media outlets had picked the quote up and run with it, he sent out this tweet yesterday night to prove that he isn't worried about any potential backlash that he'll face in Seattle.
Is it Sunday night yet?! We can't wait to see what happens during this game. This is quickly turning into our favorite rivalry in the NFL.
