Like a lot of former players, he rejoined the game in an administrative role. In this instance the New York Knicks hired him as a "basketball and business operations representative." He also said he'd be uncomfortable with a gay teammate by tweeting: "don't know Jason Collins personally but he seems like a great guy. Me personally gay men in the locked (sic) room would make me uncomfortable.'' Lucky for both Johnson and the Knicks that there aren't any gay people in New York City.
