When a California man reported his 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible missing, he could have never guessed that the police would find it and return it to him in better shape than it was before. The Impala was stolen six years ago and the owner had lost all faith that he would see it again until a random phone call from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. The car was found, along with other stolen vehicles, and had been given a frame-up restoration and turned into a low rider. The other two cars found were a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air and a 1960 Chevrolet Impala, both stolen in 2011 and both with their VIN numbers scratched off.
