Plaxico Burress may have played his final down in the NFL.

Although no formal decision has been made yet, the Steelers wide receiver reportedly suffered a torn rotator cuff at practice yesterday that could very well end of his career. He was fighting to make the Steelers' roster this summer anyway. So there's a chance that even if he was healthy, he wouldn't be in the NFL this season. But now that he's got an injured shoulder, there's a good chance that he won't be back on the football field ever again.

Burress is expected to undergo surgery on his shoulder on Monday. We wish dude the best of luck in the future—regardless of whether or not that includes a comeback in the NFL.
