Earlier this month, a video surfaced of Kevin Durant crushing this kid's hope of being able to brag "I hit a jumper on K.D. Come see me!" at the playground by swatting the hell out of his shot. He did this to two more kids' too.
But it turns out Durant is actually for the children. He showed up at Downtown Brooklyn's House of Hoops as part of his "Summer Is Serious" campaign and hung out afterward to serve ice cream. It's not just the fact that he was just serving ice cream; it's the fact that he was serving free ice cream. He violates kids one week, and he's totally being a good guy the next. As entertaining as bad guy Durant is, we're sure a lot of people would take the good guy Durant who serves free refreshments.
