Three appearances into his career with English Premier league squad, Sunderland, the United States-born striker Jozy Altidore netted his first goal for the The Black Cats in their comeback win against MK Dons today. He also tallied another assist for the team when Connor Wickham scored to put Sunderland up 3-2. Check out the video above for the game's highlights, and the GIF below for Jozy's goal.

MK Dons certainly doesn't compare talent-wise to the type of competition Altidore can expect to see against the Premier League this season, but, hey, a goal is a goal. Let's give our boy his due. Congrats, Jozy. We're sure we're going to be seeing many more of these in the near future. Given his success against international competition this summer, that doesn't seem to be too far-fetched of a prediction, either.
