"It looked like the Impala a little bit. It was knocking on my block where I lived at. This guy had a red one, like the one with the station wagon back. Malibus, they were just great. Up until the 2000s when they brought it back and they made it more family friendly. Those weren't the ones I liked, but that was a good car. It was like a little brother to the Impala. They kind of had the same design, but they were different types of cars. If I could have those Chevys, I would just line them up in my garage."

It was pretty much what the Typhoon chassis is built off of.

"I really loved the Ford Bronco. I liked the Tahoe because I liked high-up two-door trucks. It makes the body look a little bit smaller. Plus I just got a thing for trucks. The first editions of SUVS, they were just really cool to me. Before they got too big, they were really cool to me. On 2-door Tahoes they would put 4x4 across the side, and itt was just cool to me. I liked that font."

"When it first came out, it was like the first time the Impala had been brought out since the '70s. It had that design. That was the super sport, also, so it had a super crazy ass engine in it. The '95 Impala could get up on anything. People started customizing it and actually making it acceptable in the lowrider community. It kind of made that car even fresher. Right now it represents kind of what the '60s and '70s Impalas meant in the early '80s. You know that someone driving it ain't just driving it to drive it. They're driving it because they know there's something about that car."

"Whenever it stopped being a cop car, that's when it got cooler. Nobody was really customizing, putting real cool paint jobs until maybe about 1993. I think they got cooler when they stopped being cop cars and cabs. That's kind of when I started liking them.

"My best friend in high school, he got out of high school got one of them cash and put 20-inch rims on it back when 20-inch rims were brand new. I was like, 'Damn, this car's pretty badass.' He got his stolen and he really realized the Caprice is one of the most stolen cars on the block. You can get that car stolen really fast. Park ave, someone's going to go for it. It's why I like it: It's heavily sought after."

"That's not a Chevy, but Oldsmobile was under the GM umbrella. They had a Hurst 15-year-anniversary edition Cutlass that was also the Earnhardt. My favorite colors on the cars were black, red, and grey."

"I went to an auto show with my uncle, and that was just the first time I ever saw one. They used to drive those across the country. I saw that for the first time and I got a Corvette toy to go with it. I always had that stuck in my head. I was maybe four, five years old."

"A lot of people think about the Impala, one of the more classic designs is the 1964. But the '65 had a different design, a little bit sleeker look to it than the '64. That was just kind of why I liked it. It was like an advanced model of the '64, which is a lot of people's favorite model."

"It looked like the old Blazer. It didn't have the extended cab, but it was just all about the shape and the design. The S10 was a little different, but the S10 had an extended cab. I hardly ever saw an S15. That's why they were kind of a rare model."

"It's one of their more rare cars and it's a pickup truck with a Corvette engine. It had that first lowrider design to it. It was just really early. It was a sports truck. It was a Corvette, but it was a truck. That's why I loved it. And it was called a Typhoon. It was just like a different branch off. It's been one of my favorite cars since I saw it in like 1995 at a softball game.

"I wanted my dad to buy it. I was young. I just thought your parents could buy anything. If I could have bought it right then, I probably would have. As soon as I can buy it, just outright cash, I'm buying it. People want to hold onto theirs, so I don't really know anybody selling it. Those people got it in the garage with a cover over it, trying not to touch it. I thought the name was dope because, at the point in time, I didn't really know what it means. But as I figured out what it meant, it was a like a hurricane or any kind of storm, I thought it was pretty fitting given how much attention that car gets when it's driving down the street."
