Alex Rodriguez was supposed to definitely come back on a while ago, but a quadraceps strain prevented that from happening. Then the upcoming longterm suspension coming this Monday had many wondering if they were going to see Rodriguez play at all. Well, we will. That suspension is still coming, but he might play at least one last time this season. Joe Girardi penciled Rodriguez into Monday's lineup, and he's expected to meet the team in Chicago.

How's this possible you ask? If he's suspended under the Joint Drug Agreement instead of the CBA, Rodriguez can play while he's appealing the ruling as he's expected to. He can still appeal with the CBA, but can still be kept off the field. A first time offender of the Joint Drug Agreement can play until an arbitrator rules.

Will this all be worth it Yankees fans?
