Duct Tape is kind of a miracle. In 1942 a division of Johnson & Johnson invented the rubber-based adhesive resistant to water. It was then used during World War II to seal ammunition caches. The tape has since become ubiquitous for quick fixes. There's nothing that can't be repaired, at least temporarily, with duct tape. Seriously though, it should be temporary.
