For the same reason we wonder why Purdue has its Grand Prix weekend the same time that Indiana University has its Little 500 weekend, we're a bit sadened that the Woodward Dream Cruise happened the same weekend as the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. While a huge group of people were paying attention to one of the biggest car shows in the world in California, another massive group was demonstrating exactly why America has an automotive heart that beats strong.

And while many debuts were happening on the west coast, Ram decided to show off to a more applicable crowd, taking the covers off the 10th Anniversary Ram 1500 Rumble Bee. The Rumble Bee came out back in 2004 modeled after the Super Bee line of special edition muscle cars.

This new concept came draped in an extremely sweet pearlescent matte yellow, accented by all sorts of gloss black (including 24-inch, five-spoke Vellano wheels). There is also plenty of honeycomb print throughout the truck, a reworked bee design, and a real bee embeded into the transmission knob (all Jurassic Park style). Under the hood is a 5.7L hemi. We're sure plenty of people out there would love to get their hands on this sport truck. It's unfortunate it probably largely got overlooked by all the Pebble coverage.
