The Star Ledger/USA Today Sports

Relax, New York Giants fans. Victor Cruz is reportedly here to stay.

Although the deal isn't completely finalized, ESPN New York is reporting that Cruz and the Giants have hammered out a new six-year, $43 million contract. The deal will include the one-year $2.88 million restricted free agent tender that Cruz signed recently in addition to five additional seasons. There's been no word yet as to how much of the money in the contract will be guaranteed. But at this point, it sounds like Cruz will finally be getting the contract he's been chasing all offseason long.

Good for him. After the last couple of seasons, he definitely deserves it.

UPDATE:

The deal is done. It's worth $46 million over six years and includes $15.625 million guaranteed in the first two years.
