Billionaires around the world have been waiting years for the emergence of a factory long-wheelbase Range Rover. It appears they won't have to wait much longer. The testing phase for the 2014 long-body Range is nearly complete and company execs have announced the car should hit showrooms within 12 months.
A prototype version was recently spotted testing in London and from what we can tell, the new Range Rover will be extended by at least 2 feet but will retain most of the styling elements found on the standard model.
The car will likely be targeted to the Chinese market, where car sales are booming and the uber-rich are gobbling up hundreds of thousands of luxury SUVs every year.
The new Range will make its official debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show in September.
