If the rumors are true, someone please go visit Roy Jones Jr. ASAP and talk him out of this possible upcoming boxing match. According to MMA Junkie, multiple sources are reporting that newly signed Bellator fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will take on Jones in his first fight, which could take place at the end of this year.

"We've been talking to Roy and his people over a potential 'Rampage' vs. Roy fight for over seven months," an anonymous representative of Jackson's team, Wolfslair MMA, said. "Boxing and MMA have both been discussed, and (Bellator Chairman and CEO) Bjorn (Rebney) has been in these discussions every step of the way. I can't say much more than that. We'll see what happens."

At 44, Jones needs to just hang up the gloves. It's already been more than a year since his last fight and oh yeah, did we mention that he's 44 years old?! RJ, look, you've won your last two bouts, so just leave on a high note.

We're just telling you this because we care.
