The Detroit Pistons are building a nice little nucleus of young talent and no one is probably noticing it. With big men Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond already on the roster, the Pistons spent a large chunk of change—$56 million over four years, to be exact—on bringing Josh Smith to Detroit. Now, the team landed a solid point guard in Brandon Jennings, who also happens to be only 23 years old.

Through a sign-and-trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Pistons have acquired Jennings in exchange for Brandon Knight, forward Khris Middleton and center Slava Kravtsov. The Pistons are looking to finalize the deal by hammering out the details of a new three-year, $24 million contract for Jennings.

While the main focus of this deal is on Jennings, we can't help but feel happy for the other Brandon in this trade: Brandon Knight. Knight needed a change of scenery and blank slate after everything he went through last season. Oh, you forget what happened? Well, look right here and here. Yeah, we know you remembered these incidents, we just couldn't resist the opportunity to revisit those moments.
