The Seattle Seahawks gave up a 2013 first-rounder, and a 2014 third and seventh round pick in order to acquire Percy Harvin from the Minnesota Vikings over the offseason. It was a move that immediately propelled the Seahawks into consideration for one of the best teams in the NFC this upcoming season. Then, an MRI discovered a slight tear in the labrum of Harvin's hip earlier today and unfortunately, it could require surgery.

Harvin will still seek out a second opinion, but this injury just adds to an already long list of setbacks in 25-year-old's young career, which goes all the way back to his college career. There is no word on how much time Harvin could miss if he does need to undergo surgery.
