How Weird Is It to See Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett Repping the Brooklyn Nets?

Hello, Brooklyn!

None

Two-thirds of the Boston Celtics' "Big Three" are running with the Brooklyn Nets now. About a week after they were officially traded to the team, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Jason Terry were officially introduced as members of the Nets earlier today. And it looked, well, weird. After watching Pierce and Garnett representing the city of Boston for so long, seeing them in a new city with a new team and a new set of goals is different, to say the least.

"I think it's really starting to sink in as we speak," Pierce said during the introduction. "For me to actually be here now looking for a place to live…it's really starting to sink in now that it's become real. I'm no longer a Boston Celtic."

Garnett echoed those sentiments a short time later but pointed out how having Pierce and Terry next to him will make him feel right at home in Brooklyn.

"What's up, Brooklyn?" he asked. "Having [Terry] and having Paul with me was a really, really, really big issue. I don't know anyone who loves change, but change has to happen."

We guess. But this is definitely going to take some time to get used to. Fortunately, we've got a few months to try and do it.
