Tesla Motors is jumping on the Google Glass bandwagon with an app that lets users moniter how quickly their cars are charging (probably slowly). It's all the fun of watching grass grow but with a much, much higher price tag. Seriously though, we can imagine such an ability would be useful on a road trip when chilling for 20-30 minutes at a Supercharger station.

The other feature of the Tesla app, which we think will get much more use in a country where the most popular vehicle is the massive and barn-like Ford F-150, is that it will also direct you to your car. "OK glass, I just woke up on the street in a pool of some liquid with a terrible headache. Where did I park...Google had better not be recording this for market research."
