You'd better drop that platinum album some time soon if you want one of these.

Mercedes just released the pricing info for two new hardcore sports cars: the most extreme of the extreme Black Series, and the C63 that screams "I can't quite afford a Black Series."

The SLS AMG Black Series is going to be hitting a select few dealer showrooms in August, promising 622 roaring hp, a 3.5 second 0-60 dash, and suspension that will be glorious on a track and beyond terrible on America's poorly maintained roads (Happy 4th!). What will it cost you? Just $275,000. Also included in this price is the knowledge that you own a car of "extremely limited production."

For those of you who are still loaded, but would rather buy a stately Midwestern home with $275,000, there's also the C63 AMG Edition 507 that makes a predictable 507 hp. Think of it as the Reduced Calorie Black Series, it's $10,000 more expensive than the regular C63 AMG, but comes standard with the AMG Development pack, and is lightened, just not as much as the Black. Honestly, at $70,000 for the sedan and $72,000 for the coupe, it looks like the sweet spot in the AMG line up.
