For 44 years, Wyoming resident Barry Strang dreamed about buying a Harley-Davidson. And recently, his dream finally came true when he convinced his wife Pam to allow him to buy a brand-new 2013 Harley. But unfortunately, he didn't get to enjoy it for very long.

Late last month, Strang took his Harley out for the very first time shortly after purchasing it. But about three miles into his first ride, he collided with a tractor trailer while trying to maneuver around a curve. He was thrown from the bike and landed underneath of the truck. And a short time later, he was declared dead at the scene.

How sad is that? His wife Pam was and still is devastated about the whole thing. But she's also glad that her husband finally got to live his dream.

"It was something he wanted his whole life," she said. "It's like my son said, 'Dad went out with the biggest smile on his face.'"

What a heartbreaking story.
