Los Angeles is interested in him.

Is Lamar Odom going to suit up for the Lakers again next season? It's still TBD. But according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, the Lakers are interested in bringing Odom back into the mix for the 2013-14 NBA season. Now that Dwight Howard has left Los Angeles to join the Rockets, the Lakers need to add some size to their lineup. And the thinking is that Odom could, at the very least, provide that—even if he's not quite as effective as he was back in 2009 and 2010 when he helped the Lakers win NBA titles.

The problem with Odom rejoining the Lakers, of course, is that Odom wasn't happy with the way the team treated him back in 2011. First, they tried to trade him away as part of the botched deal that would have brought Chris Paul to the Lakers. Then, they basically gave him to the Mavericks when he expressed his frustrations over the Lakers trying to include him in the CP3 trade. And ever since then, he's been a shell of his former self.

But who knows? Maybe another stint with the Lakers is exactly what he needs right now. Stay tuned to see if the two sides are able to strike a deal this summer.
