According to Rumors & Rants, Johnny Manziel was sent home on Saturday afternoon from the Manning Passing Academy by, of all people, Archie Manning. At the moment, the reason for Manziel's departure is unknown. While one local writer is claiming that the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner is sick, local Lousiana play-by-play commentator Patrick Netherton states that his dismissal was for showing up late after going out on Friday night.
If the latter reports are true, Manziel ruined a great opportunity in learning from the Mannings. Of course, the 20-year-old is still young and expected to go through his fair share of growing pains. So far, there was been no word yet from Johnny Football on the dismissal.
