Jay-Z may be able to say "Jamie Torres, you over baby/Yasiel Puig, you coming with me" soon. According to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports, when the Los Angeles Dodgers were in New York to face the Yankees in June, Puig was invited to a party at a club owned by Jay after a teammate of the Cuban slugger passed along Hov's contact information. Afterwards, Puig "left the meeting intrigued."

It is also believed that Jay is also looking into getting Yoenis Cespedes and will make his push for him when the Athletics outfielder comes to New York to compete in the Home Run Derby early next week.

It definitely won't hurt that Cano, who is captain of the American League's Home Run Derby squad and personally chose Cespedes to be on his team, will be around to vouch for Jay.
