Classic cars are very cool, and they can be important pieces of history, and they're usually slow as arse, but that doesn't mean they're not dangerous. Automotive safety has come as far as any other aspect of car tech, so that means that cars like this 1915 Ford Model T can be extremely dangerous.
The driver of this car, out on the road for a Model T club meeting, couteously pulled halfway off the road to let newer and faster cars pass, but when he went to get back on the road the wooden spokes of the wheel snapped and the car toppled over. All four passengers were hospitalized, and paramedics were unable to save Karen Johnson, 51.
Our condolences to the family and the Canyon Country Model T Club.
