You know where you don't ever want to find yourself when you're sitting inside of a car? Upside-down on top of a 30,000 gallon propane tank. And yet, that's exactly where four people from Clackamas, Ore. found themselves on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the car that the four people were traveling in crashed a short time after noon when the driver of the car was speeding, missed a turn, and then ran into a barrier in the middle of a road. The accident caused the car to flip over and land upside-down on top of a nearby propane tank. And according to firefighters who arrived at the scene of the accident shortly after it took place, all four people are lucky to be alive. Had the car hit the propane tank at a slightly different angle, there's a good chance that the accident could have been much, much worse.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the crash. But the driver of the car fled the scene after the accident, and police are actively searching for him so that they can find out more about why the accident took place. What a close call.
